[Problem] Provided is a light sensor attachment structure of an image display device configured so that a clearance is eliminated between a reflection sheet and a cylindrical cushion for preventing external light from entering a light sensor and that an amount of light from a backlight can be measured accurately. [Solution] The structure includes: a light sensor (12) for measuring light from a back surface of a reflection sheet (104); a substrate (11) on which the light sensor (12) is provided; and a cylindrical cushion (13) for preventing external light from entering the light sensor (12), wherein a front surface of the cylindrical cushion (13) is bonded to the reflection sheet (104), and at the same time, the back surface of the cylindrical cushion (13) is bonded to the substrate (11).
