PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system which reduces further consumption of built-in battery in a display device.SOLUTION: A display system comprises a data creation device and a display device. The data creation device comprises: image data creation means which creates first image data and second image data of which number of dots are less than the first image data, from common original data; and transmission means which transmits the first image data and the second image data created by the image data creation means. The display device comprises: reception means 205 which receives the first image data and the second image data transmitted from the transmission means of the data creation device; and display means 203 which can perform display by changing the first image data received from the reception means into the second image data as an energy-saving mode.
