<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress waste of a recording medium even when a pasting failure occurs to the recording medium pasted on an adhesive belt.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: an adhesive belt 10 capable of conveying a recording medium P; a drive mechanism 8 for driving the adhesive belt 10; a first pressing unit 12 and a second pressing unit 19 capable of pressing the recording medium P for pasting on the adhesive belt 10; a recording head 7 for recording on the recording medium P; a detection unit 36 that is provided at a downstream side of the first pressing unit 12 and an upstream side of the recording head 7 in a conveying direction A of the recording medium P and capable of detecting a pasting failure of the recording medium P to the adhesive belt 10; and a control unit 20 for controlling the drive mechanism 8. The second pressing unit 19 is provided at a downstream side of the recording head 7 in the conveying direction A. The control unit 20 controls the drive mechanism 8 depending on a detection result of the detection unit 36.</p> |
