<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving method for a ZigBee (R) terminal capable of achieving both power saving and communication performance.SOLUTION: When communication is performed by using a beacon mode of a ZigBee protocol, while changing the number of time slots for deciding an active time of a super frame for communication between a parent node and a child node, for each communication configuration, the number of transmission beacons required for completing one sequence from beacon signal transmission from the parent node to the child node, to completion of an operation of exchange between a data request and a responce is tested (at steps S1-S8). The test result is analyzed by using a preliminarily defined analysis determination method, and the number of optimum time slots in each communication configuration is calculated on the basis of the analyzed result (at a step S9). The calculated number of optimum time slots is set to a ZigBee terminal of the parent node as the number of time slots for the active time to be used for each communication configuration (at a step S10).</p> |
