PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weaving method capable of drawing patterns that have been difficult to draw so far.SOLUTION: A weaving method using a weaving machine equipped with first to (n+2)-th (n is an even number equal to 2 or more) heald frames defines: four successive warps in a width direction of a fabric as a group; each group as the first group to the n-th group in order in the width direction; and four warps comprising each group as a first warp, a second warp, a third warp and a fourth warp in order in the width direction. The first warp is passed through a heddle of the first heald frame and the fourth warp is passed through a heddle of the second heald frame in all groups. In the first group, the second warp is passed through a heddle of the n1-th heald frame except for the first heald frame and the second heald frame, and the third warp is passed through a heddle of the n2-th heald frame except for the first heald frame, the second heald frame and the n1-th heald frame. In the (1+(n/2))-th group, the second warp is passed through a heddle of the n2-th heald frame and the third warp is passed through a heddle of the n1-th heald frame, followed by the same procedure repeated to reach the (n/2)-th group and the n-th group. |
