A dishwater includes a basket unit including an upper basket and a lower basket. The upper basket is separated from the lower basket so that cutlery in the upper basket is easily separated from the upper basket.

a first basket to accommodate cutlery; and a wash tub configured to support the first basket, wherein when the first basket is lowered for installation in the wash tub, the lowering of the first basket causes a plurality of protruding members to protrude above a bottom of the first basket to provide lateral support for the cutlery.
