<p>A method and apparatus for establishing a session in a wireless communication system is provided. A multi radio access technology (RAT) device transmits measurement results on a primary RAT system and a secondary RAT system to an entity of the primary RAT system, and receives a routing control command message from the entity of the primary RAT system. The routing control command message includes an identifier (ID) of a bearer which is subject to simultaneous transmission through the primary RAT system and the secondary RAT system, a routing type for the bearer, a routing rule for the bearer, and security information. Accordingly, an additional Wi-Fi session is established when a cellular session exists.</p> |
