The device (10) has a first connecting unit (16) connecting a hip shell (12) with a femoral-pressure part (18) and a second connecting unit (24) connecting the femoral pressure part with a knee brace (26). The femur-pressure part is provided with attachment portions for the first and the second connecting units. The first connecting unit and the second connecting unit are provided in front view of an imaginary point of intersection at angle between 10 and 20 degrees and connected together. The first and second connecting units are metal rails.
