PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a radioactivity or a radioactive concentration of a measuring object at high speed with high accuracy even when the shape or density of a detection object is different.SOLUTION: A radioactivity analyser comprises: a database (11) for storing beforehand detector response functions; a response function selection part (10) for extracting the detector response function according to a pulse height distribution passing through a measuring object and measured by a detector (3); and a reverse problem operation part (6) for analysing and quantitating radioactive nuclides contained in the measuring object by inverse problem calculation. The database stores beforehand a plurality of detector response functions according to parameter information including at least one of a density, shape, center of gravity, and distance of the measuring object. The radioactivity analyser comprises, furthermore, parameter determination parts (8, 9) for calculating parameter information on the basis of the pulse height distribution. The response function selection part extracts the detector response function according to the parameter information from the database. |
