PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load and improve the processing speed in highly accurate and excellently stable tracking processing.SOLUTION: A subject tracking device 100 comprises: a moving image acquisition section 5a for acquiring a subject moving image; a position information acquisition section 5d for acquiring position information indicating positions of movement reference points present at prescribed positions of a moving body model in the two-dimension space according to a prescribed time interval using the direction of the subject within the acquired moving image as a reference; a tracking section 5g for tracking a specific part of the subject in each of a plurality of frame images constituting the moving image by processing using a time-series filter on the basis of the acquired position information.
