A network component comprising: circuitry configured to determine, by the network component in a wireless network, channel quality of a radio channel, wherein the network component receives signal quality information from a user equipment (UE); circuitry configured to receive, by the network component from another network component, first assistance data that indicates channel conditions at the another network component; circuitry configured to dynamically schedule, by the network component on a time and frequency resource basis, a number of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) streams based on the received first assistance data and the channel quality; circuitry configured to send, by the network component to the another network component, second assistance data to cause scheduling adjustment of another number of MIMO OFDM streams, wherein the MIMO OFDM streams and the another MIMO OFDM streams are substantially synchronized; and wherein the second assistance data indicates channel conditions in relation to the network component.
