Provided are a backlight module (111) and a display comprising the same. The backlight module (111) comprises a backlight (11) comprising a plurality of backlight lamps (5), and a backlight control device (21); the backlight control device (21) comprises a backlight driving device (31) for providing a driving signal for the backlight (11), a 2D/3D backlight switching unit (4), and a first switch (2) connected with the 2D/3D backlight switching unit (4), wherein the 2D/3D backlight switching unit (4) is configured to controlling the first switch (2) to be turned on or off during switching between a 2D picture and a 3D picture, the backlight driving device (31) is directly connected with part of the backlight lamps (5) in the backlight (11), and the rest backlight lamps (5) except the part of the backlight lamps (5) in the backlight (11) are connected with the backlight driving device (31) through the first switch (2). Flexible control of the brightness of the backlight (11) during switching between the 2D picture and the 3D picture can be realized through flexible control of the backlight (11). |
