<p>The invention relates to the field of transport engineering. The device for operating a bicycle with a rear-wheel connecting rod and pedal drive comprises a first unit - the rear wheel, which is fastened by the axle thereof to the rear part of the bicycle frame, and a second unit - a saddle - which interacts with the first unit. The axis of rotation of the connecting rod system passes through the axis of rotation of the rear wheel hub. The second unit comprises a rear ischial supporting part. The second unit is fastened to the device which ensures that said unit is attached to the bicycle frame. An aerobar is additionally incorporated into the second unit, said aerobar comprising a front and a rear supporting part, which ensure that the person's front part is supported and are fastened to an additional structure forming an aperture between said supporting parts in the region of the person's perineum. Said aperture is formed in such a manner that contact of the person's perineum and genitals with the structure of the combined saddle and aerobar is prevented. An increase in the comfort of riding the bicycle is achieved.</p> |
