PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of emitting much light in the lateral direction thereof without reduction in brightness caused by impairing of heat dissipation effect.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device comprises a light-emitting element 6, a lens 1 and a radiator 4, characterized: in that the radiator 4 is formed into a cylindrical shape having one end opened; in that the light-emitting element 6 is arranged on the other end in the radiator 4; in that the lens 1 includes a lens body 2 and a flange part 3c; in that the flange part 3c is arranged to protrude from the lens body 2 to the outer side; in that lens 1 is arranged such that the lens body 2 is positioned in the opening of the radiator 4; in that the flange part 3c protrudes to the outer side of a side wall from at least a portion of a side wall upper end face of the radiator 4 enclosing said opening, and has such a reflective surface 4a in a side wall outer face of the radiator 4 corresponding to the position where the flange part 3c protrudes, as one end side is inclined more toward the inside of the radiator 4 than the other end side. |
