Provided is a light guide body, comprising a light diffusion part which is formed upon a lateral face of the light guide body in the long direction and which reflects light which is guided within the light guide body, and a light emission face part which includes at least a portion of an outer shape part, is formed upon a lateral face of the light guide body in the long direction in a location facing the light diffusion part, and emits the light which the light diffusion part reflects to the outside of the light guide body. The light emission face part is configured of a first light emission face part and a second light emission face part which are contiguous. The length of the circumference in the short direction is longer for the first light emission face part than for the second light emission face part, and the curvature of the circumference of the first light emission face part in the short direction increases the further from the second light emission face part. In the light diffusion part, the normal to the light diffusion part which passes through the center of the light diffusion part in the short cross-section is positioned intersecting the first light emission face part, and the intersection point of the normal and the first light emission face part is positioned toward the second light emission face part side in the circumference of the first light emission face part in the short cross-section.
