The present invention relates to a horizontally sliding sealing apparatus for a window installed between a window piece and a window frame. The horizontally sliding sealing apparatus includes: a sealing unit installed on the window piece to slide in the horizontal direction; a moving guide unit which is installed on the window piece to guide the sliding of the sealing unit; and a pressing unit which is installed between the rails of the window frame to protrude from the rails on the window frame to press the sealing unit to slide the sealing unit in the horizontal direction upon touching the sealing unit. Accordingly, the present invention can press the sealing unit installed on the window piece when closing the window by a pressing unit installed on the window frame in the horizontal direction to only press the sealing unit in the horizontal direction with the pressing unit when the window is closed to implement simple coupling at a low installation cost while enhancing the wind-shielding efficiency, insulation efficiency, and sound-shielding efficiency of the window. |
