<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an extrusion foamed sheet made of a resin mainly containing high density polyethylene resin, having a high expansion ratio, good in heat moldability and having a cushioning property, a retention property and rigidity (warping resistance), and excellent in impact resistance at low temperature.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a polyethylene-based resin foamed sheet by extrusion foaming a foamable resin melting product obtained by melt kneading a base resin which is a polyethylene-based resin and a foaming agent, in which the polyethylene-based resin as the base resin consists of 95 to 60 wt.% of the polyethylene-based resin (A) having a density of over 0.94 g/cmand satisfying following (a) and (b) and 5 to 40 wt.% of the polyethylene-based resin (B) having a density of 0.91 g/cmto 0.94 g/cm, where resin (A)+resin (B)=100 wt.%. (a) A melt viscosity of the polyethylene resin (A) at a crystallization temperature+15°C and a shear rate of 13 secis 2000 to 10000 Pa s. (b) The melt viscosity of the polyethylene resin (A) at a crystallization temperature+15°C is 20 cN or more.</p> |
