METHOD FOR CONTROLLING EXPANSION VALVE OF HEAT PUMP CLOTHES DRYER

Disclosed is a method for controlling an expansion valve of a heat pump clothes dryer. By detecting the evaporating temperature of an evaporator of a heat pump system and/or the surface temperature of a condenser and/or the exhaust temperature of a compressor, corresponding adjustment modes of the expansion valve are selected, and the opening degree of the expansion valve is adjusted in a set manner in each adjustment mode. The evaporating temperature of the evaporator is the temperature at the location where the phase change occurs in a refrigerant between the location of an evaporator inlet and the location of an evaporator outlet; and the surface temperature of the condenser is the temperature at the location where the phase change occurs in the refrigerant between the location of a condenser inlet and the location of a condenser outlet. The expansion valve is controlled to adjust the opening degree of the expansion valve to be increased and/or reduced and/or unchanged at the set time intervals respectively corresponding to each adjustment mode. By matching a compressor control and/or a fan control, the present invention improves the working efficiency of a heat pump and reduces the energy consumption at the same time; in addition, by controlling the opening degree of the expansion valve, excessive refrigerant is prevented from flowing into the compressor, thereby relatively prolonging the service life of the compressor.
