CELL CRYOPRESERVATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryopreservation method which can maintain a cell viability without a cryoprotective agent.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a cell cryopreservation method characterized by freezing a cell in a variable magnetic field in the absence of a cryoprotective agent. In the cryopreservation method of the above mentioned cell, it is preferred for the concerned variable magnetic field to have a frequency of 5-20 Hz and magnetic flux density of 1.5-2.2 G. The cell subjected to the cryopreservation process according to the method of the invention can be directly used for such as a transplant due to absence of harmful or low biodegradable artifact.
