PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient manufacturing method of a metallic oxide nanoparticle supporting carbon nanotube which is useful as a catalyst.SOLUTION: This invention provides a manufacturing method of a metallic oxide nanoparticle supporting carbon nanotube including a step of making a carbon nanotube (A) support metallic oxide nanoparticles by applying an electromagnetic wave to a mixture containing the specific carbon nanotube (A), a metallic oxide precursor (B), an alcohol compound (C) and water (D).
