<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston cylinder unit which is prevented from breaking down as much as possible, caused by contaminated particles.SOLUTION: A piston rod 8 protrudes from the inside of a pressure tube 1 through an end opening 13 while at an end part 5 of the pressure tube 1, the piston rod 8 is sealed with a piston rod guide and a piston rod seal. An end area 6 of the pressure tube 1 with the end part 5 at the piston rod side designated as a starting point is not applied with a surface protection layer, but is provided with an anticorrosive means 16 and at the same time, is covered with a protection cap 15 enclosing this end area 6. The protection cap 15 is provided with a bottom part 18 having a through-pass opening 19 coaxial with the protection cap 15 at the end part of the piston rod side. The piston rod 8 protrudes through the through-pass opening 19 in a displaceable manner. An inner wall of the through-pass opening 19 closely encloses the piston rod 8.</p> |
