<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chabazite-type zeolite which is expected to have characteristics practical as a substrate of a catalyst support or an adsorbent, durability and heat resistance and has economic rationality.SOLUTION: A chabazite-type zeolite, which has a molar ratio SiO/AlOof 15 to 50 and an average particle diameter of 1.5μm or more, has high durability and heat resistance. Such a chabazite-type zeolite can be produced by crystallization of a raw material composition having the molar ratio of a structure-directing agent and water to SiOsatisfying the following expression: 0.05≤structure-directing agent/SiO<0.135≤HO/SiO<30 in the presence of at least one alkali metal ion selected from the group consisting of K, Rb and Cs. The structure-directing agent preferably is an N,N,N-trimethyladamantylammonium salt.</p> |
