PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and communication system which are effective for a content viewer to easily determine the propriety of continuation of viewing.SOLUTION: A communication device 10 installed in a predetermined space receives a content distributed only in a viewing enabled period which may fluctuate, and displays the content. The communication device 10 comprises: a viewing enabled period calculation unit 11A for calculating a viewing enabled period; a reproduction period calculation unit 11B for calculating a reproduction period required for reproducing a predetermined content; a warning determination unit 11C for comparing the reproduction period with the viewing enabled period, and for generating warning information when the reproduction period exceeds the viewing enabled period; and a display unit 13 for displaying the generated warning information.
