摘要 In order to address the problem of increasing communication reliability from a transmitter to a receiver in a radio wave environment in which an electromagnetic wave emitted from the transmitter is subject to multiple reflections by a scattering body before reaching the receiver, the present invention is a radio communication system comprising a radio transmitter for sampling an information signal and modu lating a carrier wave using the sampled information signal before transmit ting the carrier wave, and a radio receiver for receiving the transmission wave transmitted from the radio transmitter and demodulating the information signal, wherein the radio communication system is characterized in that the radio transmitter has a transmission processing unit for generating a transmission wave, and a transmission unit for transmitting the transmission wave by radio after rotating the polarization thereof by a prescribed rotational frequency, the transmission processing unit generating the transmission wave by duplica ting the sampled information signal, multiplying each of the duplicated info rmation signals by a prescribed weighting coefficient, and allotting the duplicated info rmation signals to a time axis so that each of the duplicated information signals is transmitted at a respectively different polarization angle.
