<p>Provided is a small-size and high-reliability power conversion device using a small-size, high-capacity, and high-reliability film capacitor in which, when a film capacitor element having a large flattening ratio is applied to the power conversion device, a gap is prevented from opening between the films of the film capacitor and the capacitance is thereby prevented from reducing. The power conversion device is characterized by: housing a power semiconductor module for converting DC and AC in a first chamber of a chassis in which a plurality of chambers are formed; housing a wound flat film capacitor for smoothing a DC voltage in a second chamber; electrically connecting the power semiconductor module and the film capacitor with a conducting sheet; and fixing the conducting sheet to the chassis. In the power conversion device, the flat film capacitor is installed on the base member of the second chamber, one flat surface above the other, and is pressed and fixed between the conducting sheet and the base member in such a way that the upper flat surface touches the conducting sheet and the conducting sheet is fixed to the chassis.</p> |
