The unit has two winding elements (3, 3a) formed in a common housing (2). The common housing is provided with a housing wall (4) that is provided with cylindrical wall sections (5). The cylindrical wall sections comprise outer peripheral surfaces (6), which are spaced from each other. The outer peripheral surfaces form outer surfaces of the housing. The outer surfaces of the housing are received at the winding elements in the cylindrical wall sections inside the housing. The housing comprises a housing tub that is provided with a circulating side wall and a bottom wall. The winding elements are designed as capacitor winding elements and battery winding elements.
