Provided is a medical connector for opening and closing a medical container, whereby manufacturing cost is minimized. This medical connector is attached to a container enclosing a liquid medicine, and is opened by a male member, thereby enabling liquid communication between an inside and outside of the container, the connector being provided with a valve seat and a valve body. A through opening extending in an up-down direction is formed in the valve seat. The valve body is disposed in the through opening, and is pressed by the male member inserted into the through opening from outside the container, whereby the valve body moves along the through opening without deformation from a closed position in which liquid communication between the inside and outside of the container is restricted to an open position in which liquid communication between the inside and outside of the container is enabled.
