An objective of the present invention is to provide a remote control model helicopter which can stay in the air for a relatively long time with a single charging operation. In order to achieve the objective, the remote control model helicopter which moves at an altitude and in a direction indicated by a user using a transmitter includes: a body having a space in the interior thereof; a plurality of rotors connected to side surfaces of the body, for floating the body; a balloon into which gas lighter than air is injected and attached to an upper end of the body; a solar film attached to a surface of the balloon; a battery mounted to the interior of the body, for supplying a driving voltage to the rotor; a receiver mounted to the interior of the body, for receiving a signal of the transmitter; and a control unit for controlling the rotors based on an indication signal of the user received by the receiver and storing electrical energy supplied from the solar film in the battery. |
