The present invention relates to an energy storage device including heat transfer oil. The device obtains thermal stability through thermal balance from a basic module of the energy storage device by filling a module case accommodating a plurality of secondary battery cells with the heat transfer oil; minimizes a decrease in the lifetime of a secondary battery cell module by maintaining thermal properties of the secondary battery cell; improves charging and discharging performance; reduces the risk of explosion; discharges heat to the outside quickly; has moisture proofing and anti-corrosive performance; and maintains optimum performance from an initial stage at extremely low temperatures by including a separate heating means inside the module.
