The present invention relates to a horizontal-type linear vibration motor. More specifically, in the disclosed horizontal-type linear vibration motor for a mobile phone, an elastic member includes: a rectangular horizontal plate which has a certain volume; a pair of flat springs which are curved in one body at a certain angle in the opposite directions to each other at the front and the rear ends of both lateral surfaces of the horizontal plate and are elastically deformed in the horizontal direction in a cantilever form individually; and a pair of horizontal welding fixing plates which are curved in one body towards the horizontal plate on the top and the bottom surface of each end of the flat springs to fix the ends of the flat springs onto the ceiling surface of a case and onto the top surface of a bracket individually through welding. Therefore, the elastic member itself can maintain the state of being fixed in one body between the ceiling surface of the case and the top surface of the bracket. At the same time, the repetitive vibration force from a vibrator can be prevented from being directly delivered to the welding part and accordingly cracks or damage to the welding part of the flat springs due to the repetitive vibration force from the vibrator can be completely prevented. Also, since the vibrator vibrates while being stably supported, the vibration performance can be improved. Furthermore, by using the elastic member in which the inclined or V-shaped flat springs are curved in one body on the both surfaces of the horizontal plate, processing and manufacturing becomes easy.
