PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which allows a user to cause a printer to execute printing without operating the printer when printing is instructed to the printer from a portable terminal using an anywhere print function.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 2 of a printing system instructs, by document data being selected, a print service device to print without specifying an image processor 3 which executes printing. The print service device 1 transmits, in response to the instruction, a command for writing storage information related to a storage location of a generated print job in a network in a close range communication unit of the portable terminal 2. The image processor 3 starts a close range communication unit thereof, acquires the storage information written in the close range communication unit of the portable terminal 2, and prints the print job on the basis of the acquired storage information. |
