PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light source unit which can be given an interchangeability with a wedge valve while having an electric wire connection structure, and a vehicular lighting device which can have a wedge valve or a semiconductor light source unit mounted on a light source installation part.SOLUTION: An LED unit 11 comprises: a housing 13; and a left bus bar 15 and a right bus bar 17 housed in the housing 13 for holding an inserted LED 19 and making the same electrically connectable. The left bus bar 15 and the right bus bar 17 include a first terminal part 53 for connecting the contact part of the LED 19, and a second terminal part 55 for connecting a coated electric wire 63, and the second terminal part 55 includes a spring terminal connection structure 89 so folded in a U-shape as to have a clamping thickness equivalent to that of the plate-shaped terminal part of a wedge valve.
