PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a projection amount and/or a pull-in amount of an ejector pin 5 from an upper edge of an insertion hole 4 of a bottom mold 2 easily with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An ejector plate 3 is positioned at predetermined height, and a distance sensor 18 is moved horizontally on an upper part of the bottom mold 2 for detecting distances to top faces of plural ejector pins 5. The obtained distance data is analyzed by a data analysis device, and relative height is determined to base upon upper edge heights of the insertion holes 4 of the plural ejector pins 5.
