PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber band for a drum in which a trip member wound over an outer periphery of a tire molding drum can be held certainly and an intermediate mold body is peeled off easily upon taking out after molding, and a tire molding drum provided with the same. ! SOLUTION: A foundation surface 3a and a mirror surface 3b having smaller roughness than that of the foundation surface 3a is provided over the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical rubber band 3 fitted over an outer periphery of a molding drum 1. The mirror surface 3b is formed as V-shaped symmetrically against the central position of the width direction of the outer peripheral surface by a first strip part 3b1 and a second strip part 3b2 of a constant width W for example, and at least a part of the boundary 3c between the foundation surface 3a and the mirror surface 3b is inclined to both of the width direction and the circular direction of the outer peripheral surface. !
