METHOD FOR ONE-CLICK SUBSCRIBING TO MULTIPLE CHANNELS OF INFORMATION ON A SINGLE TOPIC

A subscription to multiple channels of information on a single topic is performed. A topic of interest is received via a user interface. A user interface element is presented via the user interface to facilitate a user subscription to a plurality of channels associated with the topic of interest without having to subscribe separately to each channel. A user selection of the user interface element is received and a user is subscribed to the plurality of channels in response to the received user selection.

1. A computer implemented method comprising:
receiving, via a user interface, a topic of interest; presenting, in the user interface, a user interface element to facilitate a user subscription to a plurality of channels associated with the topic of interest without having to subscribe separately to each channel, wherein a type of a first channel of the plurality of channels is different than a type of a second channel of the plurality of channels, and wherein a subscription procedure of the first channel is different than a subscription procedure of the second channel; receiving, via the user interface, a user selection of the user interface element for a subscription to the plurality of channels; and in response to the received user selection of the user interface element, subscribing a user to each of the plurality of channels, wherein subscribing the user to each of the plurality of channels comprises:
subscribing the user to the first channel based on the subscription procedure of the first channel, andsubscribing the user to the second channel based on the subscription procedure of the second channel.
