PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve parallel processing of data without requiring complicated arithmetic processing in advance for allocating divided areas and memory addresses.SOLUTION: A data processing device includes: a first processing unit 203 which performs processing by starting to read data from a first position (for example, a head position); and a second processing unit 205 which performs processing by starting to read data from a second position (for example, a trail position) different from the first position. A control unit 204 monitors throughput of data processed by each of the processing units. If the total of the throughput reaches a predetermined data size, the control unit 204 performs control to stop parallel processing performed by the first processing unit 203 and the second processing unit 205. Each of the processing units starts processing data from a different position. Based on progress in each processing, the control unit 204 determines a time point at which the parallel processing of the data is completed. In this way, the processing at the first processing unit 203 and the processing at the second processing unit 205 can be terminated at the same timing. |
