PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of obtaining hydrogen at a high yield by decomposing ammonia at a high linear velocity even in the case of a non-noble metal catalyst inferior in catalytic activity.SOLUTION: Provided is a catalyst for hydrogen production by ammonia decomposition characterized in that a honeycomb molded body in which the cell has a polygon is coated with catalyst components at a covering amount of 200 to 500 g/L, also, the parts of 1/4 in the side length right and left from the center of the cell side are covered with the catalyst components at the average of 10 to 60 μm, and also, the apparent density of the catalyst components is 1.3 g/mL. |
