PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress flickering of an image while correcting the brightness of the image according to a temperature.SOLUTION: An electrooptical device 100 includes: a pixel circuit P having a driving transistor TDR which supplies an electric current to an electrooptical element E; a temperature sensing section 34 that detects a temperature, and generates output data Dout for controlling the brightness of an image according to the detected temperature, in a first period where an image is not displayed; and a scanning line-driving circuit 22, a driving control circuit 24, a data line-driving circuit 26, and a timing control circuit 36 which control the brightness of the electrooptical element E based on the output data Dout generated in the first period, in a second period where the image is displayed. |
