PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening device and a construction method of the same which has excellent fireproof performance and workability by including a glass holding metal fitting.SOLUTION: An opening device 30 includes: a window frame 10 framed by a head jamb 100, a sill 200, and right and left jambs 300, 400; a glass 20 fixed by being fit in the window frame 10; and a glass holding metal fitting 70 extended in a vertical direction of the peripheral edge 20a of the glass 20 among the jambs 300, 400 and the side edge of the glass 20. The glass holding metal fitting 70 includes: a first glass holding metal fitting 71 fixed to the window frame 10 and forming a slit 710; and a second glass holding metal fitting 72 forming a projection 720 engaged with the slit 710. |
