1: A method for forming an adhesive for applying to a substrate comprising:
providing a first component in a generally liquid state; providing a second component in a generally solid state and having a pre-determined softening temperature that includes at least one polymeric ingredient; heating at least the second component to a temperature above the softening temperature; and mixing the first and second component to define a generally homogeneous mixture and forming an uncured activatable adhesive that upon cooling to room temperature is optionally generally dry to the touch.
