Provided is a method for producing a wet master batch that improves productivity while reducing the outflow of carbon black into the coagulating liquid, and a wet master batch obtained thereby. The method has: a coagulation step for mixing a natural rubber latex and a slurry solution containing carbon black, and then coagulating the slurry and natural rubber latex by adding acid; and a drying step for separating the resulting coagulum from the coagulating liquid, removing the moisture in the coagulum using a kneader having a dehydrating slit, and drying the coagulum. The coagulum thus produced is crushed before acid is added, then the coagulum is also crushed after acid is added. |
