The invention relates to a method for obtaining rule sets (32, 34) for a motor vehicle (10), which is designed to determine a data set (42) containing situation-dependent vehicle data for a current situation (S1) and to verify whether the data set (42) fulfils a condition (S1) for activating a specific vehicle function. Each of the rule sets (32, 34) defines such an activation condition (S1) and the vehicle function (A1) to be activated upon fulfilment of the activation condition (S1). The invention addresses the problem of automatically activating the vehicle functions in a situation-dependent manner without a costly learning phase. To this end, a central server arrangement (14) receives (a) at least one piece of activation information (40) for an activated vehicle function (A1) and (b) a data set (42') of vehicle data determined in the respective situation (S1) from each of a plurality of other motor vehicles (12), creates the rule sets (32, 34) with the aid of the received data sets (42') and the pertaining activation information (40), and transmits said rule sets to the motor vehicle (10) to be automated. |
