PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane fermentation treatment device which enables methane fermentation to be performed with a single variety of vegetation such as lawn grass. ! SOLUTION: A methane fermentation treatment device comprises: a reaction tank (S20) which generates solution to be substrate of methane fermentation by retaining mixture of organic waste (lawn grass) and acidic electrolyte for a predetermined period at a predetermined temperature; and a fermentation tank (S26) which performs the methane fermentation with the solution generated in the reaction tank. The methane fermentation treatment device also has: reaction tank temperature detection means (S20) which detects a temperature in the reaction tank; and acidic electrolyte proportion adjustment means (S14 and S20) which adjusts a proportion of the acidic electrolyte in the mixture on the basis of the detected temperature. !
