A METHOD AND PROCESS OF TREATING AN ORGANIC COMPOUND WITH A FLUID AGENT

A method and process of treating an organic compound with a fluid agent, comprising the steps of (a) determining the density of the organic compound and a measure of the interfacial tension between the organic compound and surrounding air; (b) selecting the fluid agent based upon at least the density of the organic compound and the interfacial tension between the organic compound and the surrounding air; (c) determining a delivery volume of droplets of the fluid agent based upon at least the density of the organic compound; and (d) delivering the droplets of fluid agent to the organic compound in accordance with the determined delivery volume, wherein the fluid agent has a density greater than that of the organic compound, and wherein the fluid agent is adapted to facilitate decomposition of the organic compound.
