A pre-assembly inspection device for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a method thereof are provided to solve a problem, that a fault is generated after an assembly process and a product is wasted, by respectively performing an inspection before assembling two substrates, thereby reducing material costs, improving an yield and reducing LCD production costs. A pre-assembly inspection device for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprises the followings. An LC-filled sheet(70) is disposed between two substrate modules(50,60). A backlight unit(80) emits light in the rear of the TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array substrate module(60). A driving signal input unit(90) inputs a driving signal to the two substrate modules or the TFT array substrate module. It is inspected whether a fault is generated in at least one substrate module of the two substrate modules. |
