<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply cartridge T capable of detecting an open/closed state of a supply-side shutter unit 44 that is provided to be capable of opening and closing a developer supply opening 43 included in a developer accommodation unit 40.SOLUTION: A developer accommodation cartridge comprises: a supply-side shutter unit 44 that is movable between a closing position to close a developer supply opening 43 included in a developer accommodation unit 40 to the outside and an opening position to open the developer supply opening 43; a supply-side moving member 61 that moves between a first position to locate the supply-side shutter unit 44 at the closing position and a second position to locate at the opening position, in association with the movement of a developer supply cartridge T when being attached to an attachment position of an apparatus body 100; and a shielding member 72 that moves between a position to shield a light path of detection light L and a position not to shield the light path, in association with the movement of the supply-side moving member 61. When the developer supply cartridge T is at the attachment position, a shielding state of the light path of the detection light by the shielding unit 72 corresponds to the open/closed state of the supply-side shutter unit 44.</p> |
