The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the weight of a tire, for which a resin material is used as a tire carcass member, while ensuring strength against an internal pressure. This tire (10) has: a tire carcass member (12) that has side sections (18), which are made of a rein material and positioned on either side in the tire width direction, and a crown section (22), which is continuous with outer end parts of the side sections (18) in the tire radial direction and extends inward in the tire width direction; a reinforcement ply (14) that is constructed by helically winding a cord (30) in the tire circumferential direction on the outer peripheral side of the crown section (22); and a thin-walled section (16) that is provided at the central part in the tire width direction of the crown section (22) and in a region that is located within the width of the reinforcement ply (14) and is narrower than the width of the crown section (22). |
