Disclosed are a method and a device for implementing instant messaging of a mobile user equipment. The method comprises: after receiving a login request initiated by a mobile user equipment, a mobile gateway sending a login authentication request to an instant messaging system, and acquiring an authentication result and a temporary password from the instant messaging system; after acquiring the authentication result and the temporary password, the mobile gateway allocating labeling information to the mobile user equipment, and returning the authentication result and the labeling information to the mobile user equipment; the mobile gateway using the temporary password to complete the subsequent login and keepalive process for the mobile user equipment, and returning a result to the mobile user equipment, so as to enable the mobile user equipment to implement instant messaging with the instant messaging system; and when an anomaly occurs in a network between the mobile gateway and the mobile user equipment, the mobile gateway buffering a message sent by the instant messaging system to the mobile user equipment, so that after the network is recovered, the mobile user equipment uses the labeling information to obtain the message buffered by the mobile gateway. |
