<p>A reinforced pipe includes a pipe liner, a helically wound radial reinforcement layer, a jacket, and longitudinal reinforcement. The longitudinal reinforcement includes a unidirectional material generally parallel to the axis of the pipe liner. The longitudinal layer may be within and/or adjacent the liner and/or the jacket. The longitudinal reinforcement restricts the pipe from expanding lengthwise, and the radial reinforcement layer restricts the pipe from expanding radially.</p> |
