The machine (1) has a cylinder drum (5) that is rotatable about a rotation axis (8), where the drum is arranged with a set of piston bores (6). A piston (7) is movably mounted in the piston bores between a position with a minimum volume and a position with a maximum volume of hydraulic fluid in the bores. A pivoting cradle (14) is mounted such that all rotational positions of the drum is less than 30%, 20%, 10% or 5% of difference between minimum volume and maximum volume of the hydraulic fluid located in the piston bores. An independent claim is also included for a power train.
